She was born in the sand village and never was scared of Gaara. Her father, Sasori, left her and her mother when she was a little kid. A few months later, she had made friends with Gaara. She had saved Temari and Kankuro from one of the rampages but her mother took her and left after that happen. Her mother died when she was 14 and she stayed in the village for about another year. She moves back when she got Gaara's message to ask about how she's doing and to come back to the village as his new assistant.
